There's nothing better than a warm piece of banana bread fresh out of the oven with a little bit of butter. Everybody likes banana bread. You can add really any little extra add if you want whether it's chocolate chips or nuts it only gets better! This banana bread is soft, packed with banana flavour with a hint of maple syrup in the background tying all of the flavours together.

Ingredients
🍓 3 ripe bananas mashed
🍓 1/2 cup of unsalted butter melted and cooled
🍓 1/2 cup of maple syrup
🍓 1 large egg
🍓 1 1/2 tsp of vanilla
🍓 2 cups of all purpose flour
🍓 1 tbsp of baking powder
🍓 1/2 tsp of baking soda
🍓 1/2 of salt
🍓 1/2 cup of add ins optional (chocolate chips, chopped walnuts, pecans, shredded coconut)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Grease a 9 inch loaf pan with butter or cooking spray. Set aside.
In a large bowl mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate smaller bowl mix the mashed bananas, melted butter, maple syrup, egg, and vanilla.
Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and mix until fully combined.
Fold in your add-ins of choice.
Pour the batter into the loaf pan making sure it is evenly spread out within the pan.
Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until the bread is nice and brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool for 10 minutes before removing from the loaf pan and transferring onto a cooling rack.
