Ingredients
🍓 1 cup of whole wheat flour
🍓 1 cup of all purpose flour
🍓 1 tbsp of baking powder
🍓 1/4 tsp of salt
🍓 2 tbsp of chia seeds
🍓 1/2 cup of milk any
🍓 1/2 cup of maple syrup or honey
🍓 1/3 cup of freshly squeezed orange juice
🍓 1 tbsp of orange zest
🍓 1/2 cup of unsalted butter melted
🍓 2 eggs
🍓 1/2 cup of semi sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350º F. Line a muffin tin with muffin wrappers. Set aside.
In a large bowl, mix the all purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking powder, chia seeds, and salt.
In a separate bowl, mix the milk, orange juice, orange zest, eggs, maple syrup, butter, and vanilla.
Pour the wet mixture into thhe dry mixture and mix until fully combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Divide evenly betweehn the muffin cups.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean and tops are golden brown.
