These mini granola bars are great for anytime! They can easily be made school safe. Containing oats, rice crispy cereal, chia seeds, sunflower seeds, and hemp hearts, held together by honey and peaunt butter, these are super delicious and nutritious. You will have a great snack ready for you in no time. Even better, these granola bars will last in the freezer, so they make an easy snack on the go.

Ingredients
🍓 3/4 cups of oats
🍓 1/2 cup of crispy rice cereal
🍓 2 tbsp of chia seeds
🍓 2 tbsp of sunflower seeds
🍓 2 tbsp of hemp hearts
🍓 1/2 cup of peanut butter (if you want to make them school friendly, use wow butter or sunflower butter)
🍓 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
🍓 1 tsp of vanilla extract
🍓 1/3 cup of mini chocolate chips or mini m&m's
Instructions
Line a 9 inch square pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
In a large bowl, mix the oats, crispy rice cereal, chia seeds, sunflower seeds, and hemp hearts.
On a stove element over low-medium heat, in a saucepan, melt the peanut butter and honey. It will only take 2 or 3 minutes. After the mixture is smooth, add in the vanilla and stir for a minute. Take off heat.
Add the peanut butter mixture to the oat mixture and mix until it becomes a sticky mixture where everything is stuck together.
Add in the chocolate chips and mix until they are evenly spread out in the mixture.
Scoop mixture into prepared pan and spread out evenly. Add a second piece of parchment on top of the granola bars and press down firmly.
Put in the freezer for 1 hour.
8 Take the bars out of the freezer and cut into 14 bars.
9 Store in the freezer until ready to eat.
